"Theocratic Warfare" still alive and well within Watchtower in 2016!

it seems like the watchtower is still encouraging "theocratic warfare".

in the no.1 watchtower of 2016, they (ironically) printed an article on honesty.here is something they said:"lyingwhat is it?

saying something false to someone who is entitledto know the truth.

Nothing has changed. The name has gone, but that is all.

Get your JW to deny Theocratic Warfare, then ask them to explain this article to you. Have your references ready.

What made you turn atheist or agnostic?

if you were a jw and are now an atheist or agnostic, what was the tipping point that made you turn to it?.

the reason i ask is i have noticed that many who leave the jw's seem to turn to atheism, versus still having some form of a faith.

have many of you given up on god first or have you had atheistic views first and then found atheism to be true.

I wasn't a JW. i was an unbaptized born in.

When I realized that not all was as it seemed, I soon worked out that everything I had been taught was suspect. Everything. Trying to cherry pick the bits I liked out of the cult's teachings was not a sensible option. I had to start over and do due diligence on anything I read.

Disassociation letter

i have a question about where to send my disassociation letter.

do i give a copy to the overseer of the cong i was in and the branch?

Don't send it.

They want you to send it so that they can announce your apostasy from the platform and protect their remaining cult members from you by making sure they don't talk to you.

Don't play the game by their rules. Their rules are designed so that they win, and you lose.

JAMES WOODS is in the hospital (heart related)

james woods has been a long time regular on this discussion group in all of its incarnations.. he had some kind of "heart-attack" and has been in dallas' emergency ward for several days.

he also has a blood clot doctors are working to break up.. 972-261-4412 is his cell number.. he was in a talking mood yesterday afternoon.. i bet it wouldn't kill him to get some well-wishes.. james goes back a long way as an ex-jw.

he knows where the bodies are buried :).

i enjoy the valuable intelligence, humor, and "community" it provides.. question:.

it appears that a non-jw guy is "off limits" to a jw girl-gal.

Until such time as she fully realizes that she is/was a victim of a high control religious cult, she is damaged goods and should be avoided.

The best advice I can give you is to run away.

no doubt we noticed the royal commission ask vin toole (and i think terry o'brien) about the expression "theocratic warfare"?.

they were asked to explain it and what is meant to witnesses.. vin outrightly lied when he said he "had never heard of that expression!".

i remember him using that term in conversations and talks many times!!

"misrepresenting or distorting facts", "omitting key information to deceive", or "exaggerating the truth" is ok if someone is not "entitled to know the truth".

January 2016 Watchtower page 5 leaves a loophole to allow for JWs to use Theocratic Warfare with a clear conscience.

WHAT IS IT? Saying something false to someone who is entitled
to know the truth. Lying can include misrepresenting or distorting
facts in order to mislead a person, omitting key information to deceive
someone, and exaggerating the truth in order to give a false
impression.
